Rich Hayward, Ph.D. established Scholarly Advice in 2010 after obtaining his Ph.D. in Education and Master's in English. In addition to leading our amazing team, he specializes in tutoring English Language Arts as well as helping children experiencing ADHD or developmental/behavioral challenges.
Justine is a graduate student at the University of Florida studying Educational Leadership with a concentration in Global and Comparative Educational Policy. She is also a Program Assistant at the Sahel Research Group and aims to contribute to international educational development for Sahelian students. She specializes in reading and working with children with ADHD/dyslexia.
Sabrina Hitchcock has been teaching for 12 years in Oklahoma. She is certified in all core subjects in grades 1 through 8, and at the high school level in Math and English. She has her Master's in Math Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She specializes in tutoring math.
Himani started with us as a student student studying for her SAT. Today, we are proud to say she is in medical school and is now one of our dear tutors! She specializes in the sciences and math.
Alex graduated from NC State in 2015 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has tutored for nearly 10 years and specializes in math and science.
Amber is a seasoned reading and dyslexia specialist. With a Master's degree in Reading and a certification as a reading specialist, she is committed to supporting individuals of all ages who struggle with reading. Her passion lies in narrowing the achievement gaps they face, ensuring every learner reaches their full potential.
