English Language Arts:

Your student will read a book and keep a reading journal, which will be assessed each lesson for proper writing and comprehension skills.

Math:

Lessons will begin with catch-up, going over content completed during the prior school year. We will then begin to introduce concepts in the upcoming academic year.

One-on-one tutoring for your student's coursework. Individualized study plans to address your child's specific needs, whether in reading, comprehension, math, or otherwise.

Preparation for both college entrance exams, which test the knowledge obtained from high school and the student's critical thinking skills.

Both of these private school entry exams demand competitive scores and we will prepare your student to do well. The ISEE exam has three different levels and we tutor for each one. The HSPT is not required by all schools.

We will help you complete your college applications, including the Common App, and help you put your best foot forward. We hold an interview with the student, aid in preparing an essay rough draft, and provide recommended revisions as needed to your application.

We meet with the student as frequency as is needed to review homework assignments. We check not only for correct answers, but for student understanding as well.
